MENCÁLIZ | Red

Red | Dry

Vegan wine. Made with organically farmed grapes.

A selection of Syrah, Marselan, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Garnacha, aged in French oak barrels. With a 14% vol., this complex red wine stands out for its aromatic intensity, round body, and lingering finish.

Serving temperature: 14-16ºC.

First sight

Cherry red, clean and bright, with purple highlights. High layer.

Aromas

Discover ripe red and black stone fruit in Mencáliz red, with floral notes of violets, balsamic touches, and toasted notes from aging.

In the mouth

Delight in the red fruit described above. The chocolate notes typical of French oak aging stand out, along with subtle hints of aromatic herbs.

A complex structure with a lingering finish.

How to enjoy it

Due to its aging in French oak barrels, it is recommended that Mencáliz Red be left in the glass for at least 30 minutes before serving.

It is an excellent companion to roasts, stews, game meats, pasta with tomato sauce, Iberian cured meats, and cured cheeses, not to mention rice dishes with chanterelle mushrooms.
