Do you have any questions?

Below is a list of the most frequently asked questions and their answers.

Still have questions? Don't worry, you can contact us here.

Where are your wines made?

Del Álamo Family is a premium family winery located in Madridejos, Toledo. Both the winery and our vineyards are located in the foothills of the Montes de Toledo, specifically in the Sierra de Valdehierro, in an environment characterized by plains and gentle hills, with an average altitude of 733 meters above sea level, reaching a maximum altitude of 1,199 meters. The soil is clayey and sandy, influenced by the Amarguillo River, which crosses the municipality from west to east. Our wines are made in Madridejos.

Where do the grapes you use to make your wines come from?

Del Álamo Family Vineyards extends its vineyards between the municipalities of Camuñas, Consuegra, El Romeral, Herencia, Madridejos, Tembleque, and Turleque, with a maximum distance of 40 kilometers from the winery, allowing us to select and transport the grapes to the winery in optimal ripening conditions.

Are your wines suitable for vegans?

Yes, our wines are suitable for vegans. At Del Álamo Family, we are committed to sustainability—not only economically, but also socially and environmentally. This commitment led us to certify our vineyards and winery in accordance with the regulations set forth in Regulation (EU) 2018/848 on organic production and labeling of organic products. We also certify our wines under the V-label, a seal established in Switzerland in 1966, registered and recognized internationally. This provides us with a reliable guide for vegan consumers, thanks to the exhaustive controls that certified vegan products undergo.

Our wines are another ally in maintaining a plant-based lifestyle, helping to reduce the consumption of animal-based foods and being more sustainable and respectful of the planet and its inhabitants.

Can I buy your wines online?

Yes. All of our wines are available both at the winery and in our online store. If you're interested in trying them, we promise to prepare your package with the utmost care and ensure you receive it as quickly as possible so you can enjoy them to the fullest. Our motto is EXCELLENCE.

Do you ship wine outside of Spain?

Due to the excise duty system on alcohol, not only in the European Union but in most other countries, we are currently unable to ship our wines outside of mainland Spain. But don't worry, we're working on it with all our resources. Let us know where you'd like to receive them, and we'll let you know as soon as they're available.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Del Álamo Family is located outside of a major city, so we can't guarantee that you'll receive your package within 24 hours. However, we do guarantee that you'll have it delivered within 48-72 hours so you can enjoy our wines whenever you want. However, it's possible you'll receive it within the first 24 hours after placing your order!

What is the best way to store wine at home?

Del Álamo Family wines are alive, and you should pamper them. We know it's not common to have a wine cellar with temperature-controlled cabinets at home, but what you can do to properly preserve our wines is to avoid exposing them to sunlight and sudden temperature fluctuations.

To ensure you can fully enjoy each of our wines, store them in a cabinet while they're sealed, preferably lying down rather than standing up, protected from sunlight and at a constant temperature of 16-18°C. When you decide to open the bottle, place it in the refrigerator so the wine reaches its ideal drinking temperature. Once the bottle is opened, always keep it in the refrigerator.
Enjoy all our products in moderation.
